Welcome to my portfolio

Hello! This is a simple static site created with Next.js. I built it to showcase some of my work and the various technology stacks involved, as well as to serve as my playground for deployment and CI/CD.

I began my programming journey with a certificate from TAFE NSW, which focused heavily on C#, MSSQL, and backend fundamentals. Backend development, particularly using PHP and SQL, is where I currently thrive in my role.

Currently, I prefer to develop frontend applications using the MERN stack. However my preferences may evolve over time.

In my current role, I am working on a Shopify app as my main project. While I can't reveal the details until it's completed, I can share that it's a full-stack project where I lead the development efforts. The app utilises Node.js, React, and Prisma.

Beyond code, I'm passionate about linguistics and human languages. For my Master's in Applied Linguistics, I explored tech's impact on minority languages and how Reddit is changing the Irish language. Labhair liom as Gaeilge le do thoil! Beidh mé an-sásta leis sin!
